Rajdharma, anyone?

I am not sure what Mr.Nadda is complaining about.
1. Is it that the police was instructed to stand by and watch as the life of an honourable elected Member of Parliament was being put in danger by an unruly mob?
2. Or is it that the Chief Minister of the state who controlled the said police and who could have intervened to save the situation in a jiffy, refused to come to the phone?

Does anyone have any answers? Is that not par for the course for CMs and the state police in such scenarios, as demonstrated by the most successful CM (and later PM) of the most successful state of India back in 2002? So, what's his exact grievance?
Honestly, I'm a little confused. Maybe we should just let Shweta Bhatt or Nishrin Jafri Hussain explain the pain of those who believe in democratic principles, what say?
