The government is asking the Kashmiri detainees to sign a bond as a precondition to release.

I wonder where they get the idea that someone they imprisoned for asking for freedom will voluntarily agree to give it up and work with the government just so that they can get out of jail. Nobody in their right minds would beg for mercy and promise to give up their struggle just to be let out. Even if they were sent to the Andamans.
