Don't give nutjobs a platform!

I am not amused at the NDTV video of debate where the bhakt claiming that the Taj Mahal is a Hindu temple (and other such ridiculous claims) is given so much respect and footage. I am surprised at people who don't realise that this is the thin end of the wedge. before you know it, the Overton Window will shift, and soon, you'll see more of these crackpots on tv, initially invited mainly for their entertainment. But, slowly, as they get exposure and their ideas are repeated, as they get mocked and laughed at, there will come a time when enough people will start taking them seriously. And then, we'll rue the day we put them up for display thus. We'll wonder, rather amnesicly, about how something so silly was mainstreamed, forgetting that it was we who mainstreamed it ourselves.

Liberals are such short-sighted fools.
