The return of gulabjamuns.

When my kid brother died in September 2001, my mom and I gave up gulab jamuns, his favourite dessert. Today, on the naming ceremony of little Kymaia, my mom specifically ordered gulab jamuns on the menu, and we both ate with relish.

It is really something eating a dish after 13 years! Thanks, Kymaia. Your Abhijit chacha would have loved you, and eaten gulab jamuns by the plateful to celebrate your coming into our world!

And yes, long live gulab jamuns.
