Space: The final frontier.
Recently, I came across this excellent article about how space startups are going to be the flavour of the next decade or two, especially in the nanosatellite...erm...space.
Note: The article is behind a paywall, but the gist of it is that the future for space startups is bright.
The large volumes of engineers at low costs working in a government-backed Antrix Corp, coupled with a jugadu mentality, and huge possible upsides and payoffs could make India a leader if only the young saw and used this window. There are a billion ways to make this work in India's favour. That is not in doubt. The question simply is whether Indians will be first in line, or miss this bus as the Western world throws up bold entrepreneurs taking literal moonshots.
